Jessica is a Social Service Worker graduate from Niagara College. Jessica has experience working with a variety of social service agencies, most recently within housing sector crisis support through non-profit organizations. She is passionate about helping others to understand and navigate the system so that they have successful tenancies. Jessica is excited to be a part of RentSmart Ontario to continue assisting in the homelessness prevention framework.

Laura comes to RentSmart Ontario with a strong passion for advocating that housing is a human right. She believes in building capacity within the community through an approachable and adaptable style of sharing knowledge while valuing the lived experiences of each person she shares the RentSmart education with.
Laura is also a Community Support Worker at Bethlehem Housing and Support Services, where she serves clients who are at risk or experiencing homelessness. Laura works from a client-centered, harm reduction approach, and believes in meeting people where they are at. She has extensive experience working with some of the community’s most vulnerable people.
Laura holds a degree with Honours from Brock University in Sociology with a Concentration in Social Justice and Equity Studies. She also sits on a Board of Directors for co-operative housing. When she is not working, Laura enjoys gardening and growing food and, creating everything from wearable art to home decor.

Sheri works for CMHA Peel Dufferin for over 10 years in Outreach services. Her work supporting the Chronic and Episodically Homeless is driven by a Housing First Approach. Her passion and expertise in Housing has led her to develop Peels first Housing Support Drop in: where she has served hundreds of clients since its development in 2018. She graduated from Carlton University in 1996 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law-Sociology- Anthropology. Her qualifications and experiences have been nurtured in the areas of Mental Health, Community Corrections, Program Development, Addictions, Housing and Intensive Case Management for the most vulnerable individuals. Sheri has traveled extensively and shares a strong desire to influence policies and funding that enhance housing opportunities and facilitate service navigation.
